Since November 2019, we have been at the forefront of producing captivating kiteboarding vlogs with world-renowned kitesurfer Kevin Langeree. Our journey began in Cape Town, crafting weekly vlogs each season from November to February, and has since expanded to locations like the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Turkey, with our latest series released this winter. Our collaboration has birthed over 60 vlogs, amassing a total of 4 million views, with standouts like "World's Shortest Lines" and "Homemade Kiteboard Challenge" captivating audiences worldwide. These vlogs, averaging around 70,000 views and peaking at over 300,000, are complemented by short-form content for platforms like YouTube Shorts and Instagram, many surpassing 1 million views. Our production process involves close collaboration on ideas, followed by filming directed by me, using a variety of lenses, drones, and POV footage from Kevin's GoPro, creating an immersive viewer experience. I also appear as a minor character, adding a personal touch that invites viewers to feel part of our adventures. Post-shoot, the process involves editing a rough cut, screening, and finalizing based on feedback, topped off with designing catchy thumbnails and crafting compelling titles. This series stands as a testament to our creativity and ability to produce engaging, high-quality content that resonates with the action sports community.
